Andy Sharman is a Senior Associate in the Calgary office of Boyden global executive search. He brings to Boyden 6 years of successful search experience. His search practice includes finance and accounting, banking and the financial industry, education, the energy sector, the packaged good industry, and in manufacturing and distribution.

Andy has a wide and varied background in strategic planning and execution, business development, financial management, financial services and accounting. He has in-depth experience in both the operational and the financial side of business, along with hands on success in sales and marketing. His diverse experience has been gained from a career path that features executive and senior positions in banking, finance, consulting and education. He has held a variety of executive positions such as Vice President in the Canadian Credit Union System and also served as the Chief Financial Officer in private industry.

A strong and active supporter of the local community, Andy currently sits on the Financial Services Advisory Committee and the Aviation Program Advisory Committee at Mount Royal College, and has also been a member of the Board of Directors of the Mustard Seed Street Ministry. He supports the Haskayne School of Business as a mentor with the MBA Mentorship Program, serves as a guest lecturer for the Applied Accounting Degree program at SAIT, and is a community volunteer with the Calgary Adopt a Park program.

Andy holds an MBA with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary. He is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and earned an Associate of the Credit Union Institute of Canada (ACUIC) designation from Dalhousie University. Andy also holds a Fourth Class Power Engineer Certificate from SAIT. The highlight of his pursuit of education came in 1992 when Andy attended Disney University in Florida.
